SWEET POTATO FRIES WITH GARLIC AND HERBS

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 200 °C
  • Peel sweet potatoes then cut lengthwise in half, then in wedges.
  • Place cut sweet potatoes into a suitable bowl, add olive oil, garlic oil, pepper and onions and toss until well coated
  • Spread out onto a baking tray in a single layer
  • Sprinkle with salt and place into preheated oven.
  • Bake at 200' c for +-30 minutes, until tender and golden brown, turning sweet potatoe chips occasionally.
  • Mix chopped parsley, daniah, thyme and Aromat and sprinkle over baked sweet potatoe fries
  • Serve with any meat or poultry dish or on its own

Ingredients

    750g Sweet potatoes, wedges

    3/4 tsp Salt

    2/4 tsp Pepper black, crushed

    3/4 tsp Parsley chopped

    3/4 tsp Coriander chopped

    1/2 tsp Thyme dried

    1½ tsp Olive Oil

    3/4 tsp Garlic Oil

    1½tsp Aromat

    1½ tsp Onions, cut into small cubes
